Upon receiving my copy of the Worriless Wedding & Events “Do it yourself wedding guide” I was quite taken aback. Natalie Orr was so friendly and wore a gigantic smile, which made me, a stranger, feel so comfortable being around her. After reading her bio in the guide, I got a chance to learn more about her and understand her passion for her skills and people. Which was so much that she basically handed over to me everything I needed to plan a wedding.. right in the palm of my hands.

This gem of a book took me on a journey from choosing a date and time to an actual wedding day timeline. She even gave expert advice on one of the most dreaded task… creating a guest list, and her methods all surround one key factor, ensuring your day is special and memorable.

Her financial background is emphasized throughout the guide from preparing a budget to chosing the right vendor to suit your needs (an actual budget planner is included).

Planning your wedding can start as early as 12 months prior to your date. Thankfully, Ms Natalie has all that covered in her guide, so there’s no need to worry about when to book a florist or cake decorator, this complete guide will ease you through the process.

I love my “Do it yourself wedding guide” and you will too!!

“This concise, 31-page book written by Natalie Orr, Chief Events Officer at Worriless Wedding and Events, was published in 2020.
It takes the reader from getting engaged, to developing the guest list, building the budget, choosing the right vendor, determining the timelines and shows the order of a typical reception. The language is conversational and easy-to-understand, with clear explanations of any wedding-related terms used.
Natalie Orr’s background in finance shines in the section “Wedding Budget Saving Tips,” with an accompanying, thorough wedding budget checklist, included in the appendix. Another section we thought would be useful for DIY couples, is the “Wedding Essentials” page – where Natalie gives insights into issues that couples often overlook during wedding planning. The “Wedding Checklist by month,” also gives a good general guide of what couples should be looking at each month, in the lead-up to the wedding.
Overall, based on our review, this book is most suited for brides and grooms who have had no event planning experience, who want to plan their weddings on their own but need a “roadmap at a glance” of how to proceed.”
